OFF at Forum : 3 Outdoor Events @ Parc del Forum

This event is a meeting of labels, artists, collectives and parties from all over the world. It will be happening from 15 to 17 June in three amazing spaces in the Forum Park of Barcelona. This year the programme runs from Thursday to Saturday with a party of international renown on each day.

The opening day, THURSDAY 15 JUNE, is hosted by the US group CREW LOVE, which has become a classic at OFF AT FORUM. With Wolf+Lamb and Soul Clap rocking the party following their appearance at Coachella with the acclaimed Love Train Tour, this year also welcomes back Nick Monaco, one of the secret weapons of the Brooklyn label. This Californian DJ and producer, so well-known for his extravagant performances, is coming to release an arsenal of melodic sounds and funk-laden beats from his latest work Half Naked. And the Crew Love party wouldn’t be complete without the first performance in Barcelona of Canadian bad boys The Fitness (live).

For FRIDAY 16, the organisers have programmed the biggest party of the whole OFF WEEK: DIYNAMIC OUTDOOR returns with Solomun to headline a line-up of 13 artists bursting with energy. The techno-minimal duo Kollektiv Turmstrasse head one of the three live performances of the day, accompanied by German virtuoso and producer Johannes Bretch and the Norwegians Ost & Kjex, who bridge the gap between indie pop and electronic music with attitude. As always, Diynamic presents a stellar line-up where the artists on the label showcase a unique performance led by stage references such as Undercatt, Adriatique, Lehar, Undercatt and Musumeci, the epic 80s DJ and producer who is appearing at OFF AT FORUM 2017 for the first time.

SATURDAY 17 sees the arrival of SECRETSUNDAZE. This British la- bel, famous for its London underground parties, places the gig in the hands of its founders, DJs Giles Smith and James Priestley, alongside brand new and unconventional acts such as the electronic tribalism of Joe Claussell, one of the most consistent DJs in the team, or the promising young Palms Trax, who is a regular at the iconic Panorama Bar in Berlin as well as at the prestigious Dekmantel Festival, who will arrive with a garage load of home-made equipment including melodic synthesisers and a whole catalogue of rhythmic patterns. But there is also space for us to see the return of Marcellus Pittman, this time in a B2B with Funkineven, the jazzy, broken sound of Henry Wu and one of Secretsundaze’s regulars: DJ Fred P.

OFF AT FORUM has organized three full days that reflect the philosophy of the event over the years: enjoying electronic music in an open air location, in an unique environment and with the guaranteed sound quality – the essential element of its identity.
